There are three childcare centres on the Unitec campus for the care of children of staff and students of Unitec.
Te Puna Reo o Wairaka
This Māori bilingual early childhood centre delivers high quality, early learning experiences through integrating te reo Māori. The centre caters for children from birth to five years, and offers an environment that supports learning, growth and success.

Unitec Early Learning Centre Inc - Tui Whare and Pukeko Whare
These two centres are located next to each other and cater for children up to the age of five. Our staff are highly qualified and committed to early childhood education. The centres have a favourable staff-to-child ratio and provide a stimulating, fun and caring environment. The curriculum is designed to cater for the diverse group of children who attend these centres. For more information on enrolment and place availability contact the Administration Manager.
Location: Building 57 and Building 58, Mt Albert campus
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.00am - 5.15pm
