Unitec scholarships info now easier to find

A new Scholarships Portal is now up-and-running for Unitec students, staff, and the public to check out at any time, from anywhere.
The portal makes finding a range of scholarship options a much easier job for students, and will also help raise awareness of the significant financial resources Unitec has available to help students meet their study or research project costs.
There are 107 different scholarships, awards, and grants listed on the site to date. They provide solutions to a wide range of student needs across our institution.
The scholarships portal provides you with:
- Information about awards offered by departments to top-performing students, in select programmes
- Scholarships that groups outside of Unitec offer that students may be eligible to apply for, such as industry, government-funded, or Trust scholarships
- Details of internships available with companies in industry and working on research projects
- Other special scholarship options that offer successful applicants other forms of support, such as a mentor, as well as financial help to meet course costs
- Grants that Unitec offers students who find themselves in financial need or hardship while studying
The Featured Awards lists scholarships which are due to close off applications soon. Check out these items first, and make sure you don't miss out on a great opportunity.
