Planning your Career – Are you due to finish your studies this year? Are you returning to learning after a break? Are you changing career? Be in control of your career by evaluating your interests, experience and the market and setting goals accordingly. Interactive tools and website will be introduced in this session.
Preparing a CV and Cover Letter – Learn the fundamentals of professional CVs and how to construct an effective cover letter.
*20 minute drop in sessions available to individually review your CV following the workshop.
Job Search Techniques – Become a smart job seeker. Learn how to research opportunities in your field and how to access the hidden job market.
Interview Skills – Develop your confidence for job interviews through practice.
Practical Networking – Learn how networking can help identify career opportunities and how to put this into practice.
Careers for a Sustainable World – Learn about how you can find work that combines what you love to do with making a positive difference in the world we live in.
Understanding your Personality – Find out what personality type has to do with career choice. Myers Briggs Assessments will be introduced in this session.
