Unitec School of sport student Lou Guinares is doing us proud at the Commonwealth Games in India. The 20-year-old weightlifter set both junior and senior records in the 56kg class at the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex. He also set six New Zealand records and a personal best. Philippines-born Guinares, who has been in the sport for only two years told STUFF.co.nz  that the Commonwealth Games was his biggest competition to date he described it as both "nerve-wracking" and "awesome".
