My New Favourite Website
I really want to learn French; I try and speak my minimal amount at my boyfriend but just end up laughing because I'm so terrible at it and just throw random words together to try make some sense. So you can imagine my excitement when I found this website http://babelfish.yahoo.com/translate_txt You enter in words or a sentence and it spits out the translation, but then if you put in the translation to go back to English it's all backwards and weird, just how I like it. I'm going to learn pidgin French so if I ever end up in France I will make friends and people will give me stuff for a; trying to speak their language (apparently they really appreciate this and hate you if you just speak the English) and b; being a clueless foreigner with terrible, but adorable French (I assume people will find it as endearing as I do when foreigners here get their English muddled up).
My favourite translation to date: I feel like napping with my electric blanket surrounded in candy floss. To: Je me sens comme faire une sieste avec ma couverture électrique surronded en soie de sucrerie. Then this back to English: I feel like making a nap with my electric cover silk surronded of sugar refinery. HAHA Make some yourself and post them below!

Que pensez-vous ? Translation: What are you thinking ? I wonder if this actually uses correct grammar, or if its like Google Translator and gets horrible grammar mistakes, while you're trying to flame a person who doesn't not English over the internet (grammatical error was intended), and you say something about getting angry, and they think you said something about getting hungry, only leading to a more heated conversation because they think you are just joshing with them. <-- Which by the way you HAVE to try. It's hilarious.

Why are you being so racist man? Is Unitec Racist? Somebody should write an article about Unitec being racist. It would be good to read I think..

I' ; d n'indiquent jamais ceci en anglais, mais je pense que vous êtes totalement impressionnant. J'aime lire tous vos histoires et articles. Mais autant que j'aime les lire, I juste can' ; l'aide de t mais les pêchent tous. Après tout, c'est l'Internet, n'importe qui peut indiquer et faire en tant qu'eux svp.
