Dear Unitec
As one of your former students, I would like to take the opportunity to express my admiration to a great institute renowned for its facilities, great lecturers, outstanding courses and last but not least, its world-class reputation. I am extremely fortunate to be a former student of Unitec and will forever cherish that a part of Unitec will remain with me for a lifetime.
Other than expressing my love for Unitec, I also would like to have the opportunity to make a suggestion. Although Unitec has greatly improved for the past few years, it would be great if it can have its own online graduates database just like what Massey University and University of Auckland have. The purpose of the online graduates database would be helpful for people to check the qualification details of individuals who graduated from Unitec. At the same time, the online database would be a convenience for local and international employers to verify a potential job applicants qualification status. Moreover, an online graduate’s database would be useful in tackling resume fraud and fake degree scams that are happening in this day and age.
I hope you will consider the idea of having an online graduate’s database in the near future. Thank you for your attention.
