Postgraduate Support
The Postgraduate Centre offers a physical space for study, teaching and discussion, and provides academic advice, resources and administrative services for students and staff involved in postgraduate research.
Students have access to teaching and advice on research methods and data analyses, as well as individual guidance and tutorials on research software used in quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques.
Workshops
The centre also facilitates workshops on topics related to postgraduate research and supervision. Administration of student research includes applications, approval of research proposals, and submission and examination of student research work.
Academic Support through the Learning Centre
The Learning Centre (Te Puna Ako) offers workshops, small group and individual learning development advice and guidance in the following areas:

- Structure and argument in academic writing
- English language development for advanced study
- Strategies for success in research projects, dissertations & theses
- Making the most of feedback and supervision
