All Unitec students and staff can use the library for information, reading and study. You may borrow items from the library using your student ID card (if your course is two weeks or longer).

One off room bookings can be made for study purposes, practice, or rehearsal that is related to programme of study. Book a study space now.

Disabilities Liaison Office

At the Mt Albert campus, two study rooms are available for use by students with disabilities during the semester. These study rooms are located in the Disability Liaison Office.

Student Learning Commons at Waitakere Campus - Te Puna Ora o Waitakere

Unitec Waitakere Library now have 95 computers available for student use. These are as follows:

In the Unitec Information Commons - Level 3 of Building 520 (Waitakere Central Library)

 28 desktop computers

 16 laptop computers

 20 netbook computers

 TOTAL: 64 computers

In the Te Puna o Waitakere Learning Commons - Room 500-1001

15 desktop computers

16 laptop computers

TOTAL: 31 computers

On top of this, we have 2 express 'printing only' desktop computers in the Te Puna o Waitakere Learning Commons.

Together with printing and scanning facilities in both locations, Waitakere campus-based students have plenty of opportunity to access computers and interact with electronic learning tools.

Learning Commons Opening hours:

Monday - Thursday: 8.30am to 8pm

Friday: 8.30am to 5.00pm

Saturday and Sunday: Closed
